Ahhh…June. That beautiful month where the produce comes alive and fruit is luscious and delicious. This month, we wanted to give you an alternate idea for fruit salad that we recently tried and loved. And because Mother Nature did the hard work, this one is as fast and easy as it is delicious.

Enjoy for breakfast with vanilla Greek yogurt, as a snack or over ice cream for dessert. However you choose to enjoy this tasty recipe, we can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.


Red and Black Fruit Salad

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: about 1 cup)



  • 2 red plums, pitted and sliced

  • 1 cup raspberries

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted shelled pistachios, chopped

  • 3 mint leaves, coarsely torn (about 1 tablespoon)


1. Toss plums, raspberries, and blueberries with sugar, orange juice, and cinnamon; let stand 15 minutes. Serve sprinkled with pistachios and mint.
