Delectable Chocolate Fondue

Quick, easy, and fun, chocolate fondue is a perfect dessert for parties or intimate dinners.

Suggested dipping items:

– Crystallized ginger

– Dried apricots, figs, and pears

– Marshmallows

– Pizzelles

– Pound cake, cubed

– Pretzels

– Strawberries

Place dipping items on skewers for easy dipping

Ingredients: (makes 1 quart)

– 1 pound bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

– 2 cups heavy cream

– A few tablespoons of raspberry or another flavored liqueur

 

Directions:

1. Combine chocolate and cream in a heat-proof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Using a wooden spoon, stir occasionally until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
